Our Educators’ Cooperative network is cross-sector and region-wide. We teach all over Middle Tennessee’s public, private, and charter schools. EdCo serves as a professional collaborative network to provide our teachers with resources, community, and professional development in ways that are otherwise unavailable. We take the support we give one another back into the classroom. It is truly for teachers, by teachers.

We make choices about the programs we offer, the workshops we host, and the resources we make possible based on two key factors:
1) What research says has the greatest impact on a teacher's choice to stay in the classroom.
2) What constitutes effective professional development.
When EdCo creates a program, workshop, etc., we do so in line with what research says makes for effective Professional Development and beneficial Collaborative Professionalism.
The tables below provide a peek behind the curtain of our work to make that possible. Throughout the course of a teacher’s career, they may interact with EdCo many times in many different ways - we seek to provide effective development at every level. Hover over each for a short description.
