Poetry w/ Southern Word and Jarrel Pierson

Jarrel Pierson is a multi-talented graduate of MTSU’s Recording Industry program. In addition to his background as an audio engineer and producer, Jarrel sings, performs spoken word, and is Southern Word’s resident DJ. Upon his graduation from MTSU, his ability to generate creative, engaging lesson plans that integrate writing and performance in a variety of formats made him an important partner for Southern Word. He facilitates Southern Word’s program partnership with BMG and is a producer for platinum certified hip-hop duo GRITS.
