After years of cross-sector collaboration, the teachers of The Educators’ Cooperative have worked together to refine units, lessons, questions, and activities that can work in your classroom. From ‘Equity-Based Math Instruction’ to ‘Digital Interactive Cross Generational Book Clubs’ these classes will help bring your teaching to creative new heights and connect you with teachers from all over the city who are looking to work together.
Teachers don’t always have direct access to systemic levers, but we do have access to students, colleagues, families, and through those relationships we are real, active agents of change. Keynote speakers Dr. Mona Ivey-Soto (Monday 6/24) and Chakita Patterson (Tuesday 6/25) will focus on the levers in the classroom, helping teachers see the way in which our classrooms provide us with opportunities and agency to make an impact.
After morning talks, you’ll choose two workshops a day, each designed and taught by pairs of teachers from schools all over the city.
